THE WHITMAN TROPES will be premiered by the New England Conservatory Wind Ensemble and Soprano Zoie Lamb on Feb. 25 in Carnegie Hall as part of the College Band Directors' Nat'l Assn. convention.

NIGHTWATCHES for Oboe and Amplified Piano was premiered October 24 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire by Oboist Christa Garvey (for whom the work was written) and Pianist Barbara Wimunc-Pearson.

The Webster Trio recorded CHILDREN OF LIGHT in October; it will be part of their All-American Webster CD soon to be released.

THE WHITMAN TROPES will be premiered by the New England Conservatory Wind Ensemble on Feb. 25 at Carnegie Hall as part of the annual convention of the College Band Directors National Assn. (CBDNA). The twenty-two minute work for High Soprano and Wind Ensemble was commissioned by the New England Conservatory specifically for this occasion.
